Neurological
Physiotherapy focused on Parkinson's-Specific Exercise

Based in Hamilton, New Zealand, Limitless Neuro Rehab is a physiotherapy-led programme consisting of one-on-one sessions and structured group classes with evidence-based exercises to improve your capabilities.

Why Should We Exercise?

Benefits of Parkinson's Specific Exercise

Evidence has proven that for the Parkinson's community, exercise is medicine! Benefits of specific exercise have included improved balance, longer strides when walking, improved gait quality, improved mood and an overall better quality of life!

Benefits of Group Exercise

We understand that group exercise isn't for everyone, but the research behind why it is so beneficial is hard to ignore! Compared to individual exercise, participants in group exercise classes showed increased participation levels, improved mood, better social engagement, and a larger sense of accomplishment.

Parkinson's in New Zealand

Parkinson's Disease is the second most common neurological condition during adulthood. It affects on average 1 in 500 people, suggesting there are over 12,000 New Zealanders living with Parkinson's. Because the average age at diagnosis is 60, most people spend around 23 years living with Parkinson's.

"I love attending the PD exercise classes and appreciate Grace's knowledge and enthusiasm. She is both supportive and challenging; encouraging us to do the exercises to the best of our ability. The classes and doing the exercises with such a great group of people helps to keep me motivated"

- Bev

"The PD targeted exercises are awesome. The PD Limitless classes twice a week are as important to me as my medication. Social interaction with a great group of motivated people is also fantastic."

- Paul

"PD exercise classes play a vital role in keeping my symptoms at bay. I have my medication, come to a PD class and spend an hour doing challenging PD focused exercises. Together with the fun, laughter and support of our team this class helps set me up to look forward to the rest of my day. We are fortunate to have Grace's skill, commitment and sense of fun to help us on our journey."

- Ros

Grace’s PD exercise classes are thoroughly enjoyable and have been very beneficial-not just for the physical side but also the cognitive. There is a great bunch of people and we have a good laugh in a relaxed atmosphere. Doing exercise in group keeps me motivated too..”
